Written Report
During the week, each of
the PACE Place professionals write notes summarizing their observations and
recommendations. You will take home these informal, daily notes. Within
two weeks of your visit to PACE Place, you will receive a formal written
report, attempting to consolidate the week’s notes. The goal of the report
is to capture the essence of the week as well as provide functional goals.
The formal report ties the week’s observations and recommendations to
the goals provided by you prior to the PACE Place week. The report also
summarizes the new topics and goals the PACE staff discovered during the
week. Parents and other family members are encouraged to write daily notes
of their own. Putting experiences into your own words is a powerful way to
make the most of a learning situation.
